You can teach a kid a lot with their lunch. It's our job to make sure we teach the right lessons.

Lunchtime is a great time to teach kids about healthy living. We take advantage of this daily ritual by serving meals meant to be enjoyable as they are nutritious.

Every Food For Thought Lunch Program menu is packed full of delicious and kid-approved options. Our lunches are fresh and do far more than just fill hungry tummies. Our lunches teach kids that lunch is a time to slow down and enjoy each tasty morsel of food.

It's not rocket science. Fresh vegetables, whole grains and seasonal fruits make our meals nutritious and wholesome. We can help introduce your kids to what real food tastes like with our fresh approach to lunchtime. Real food equals real flavor!

The Food For Thought team knows that the best ingredients are locally grown. That's why we seek to know our local food growers in order to buy locally in-season foods whenever possible. Such concepts also guide children toward eating local, organic and unprocessed foods into adulthood. With all of this in mind, our bottom line never changes: we want to help children experience the yumminess that comes with eating healthy, local, seasonal food.

We know how stressful it can be as a parent to send your child to school knowing that they have food allergies. That's why we consider allergens in preparing each and every lunch. Our menu identifies items that contain common allergens like wheat, milk, eggs, soy, shellfish, fish, peanuts and tree nuts. All of our meals are peanut-free. Our menu is full of tasty allergen friendly options. We welcome parents to contact us with any dietary concerns or to discuss your child's specific dietary needs.
